PS. 116:15 Matthew Jesse Patterson July 19, 1977-March 4, 2024 With aching hearts, we release to the care of our creator, Matthew Jesse Patterson, a beloved Husband, Father, Grandfather, Uncle and Brother. Matthew served his family and our country. He lovingly cared for his parents until their passing, with kindness and devotion. He was always available for advice and a helping hand. Matthew loved spending time with his family and had his quiet times fishing and tinkering. He was generous and kind, with an infectious laugh and a warm embrace that we will miss until we see him again. Matthew is survived by his wife of 25 years, Shanda Stokes Patterson; three beautiful daughters, Destini Patterson-Gonzalez, Isabella Patterson and Marilyn Rose Patterson; granddaughter, Marley Gonzalez; brothers, John Cecil Patterson, III and Mark Alanson Patterson. Greeting him in Heaven is his mom and dad, Leilani and John C. Patterson, Jr. A celebration of life memorial service will be Tuesday March 12, 2024, at 1:00pm at Colonial Heights Baptist Church in Ridgeland.
