Forwarding & Receiving Remains

There are times when your loved one will need to be sent to or received from another funeral home. We at Natchez Trace Funeral Home will take every precaution and care to ensure that the remains will be handled professionally and with dignity.

Forwarding Remains to another funeral home includes the basic services of the funeral director and staff and a proportionate share of our overhead costs, necessary authorizations, embalming, transportation to the local airport or other place of shipment within a 50-mile radius of Natchez Trace Funeral Home. The charge for this service is $1850.00 and applies to shipments within the continental United States only. Shipping containers, shipping charges from the shipping company, and visitation and ceremonies are not included in the price.

Receiving Remains from anther funeral home includes the basic services of the funeral direcor and staff and a proportionate share of our overhead costs, transportation from the local airport or other shipping destination within a 50 mile radius of Natchez Trace Funeral Home, and transportation of remains to the cemetery or crematory. The charge for this service is $1575.00 (does not include visitations or ceremonies).
